How much fun can you have interning at Film@11? Just ask Sabrina Chan, who arrived at our world headquarters from Malaysia and found that, well, it was a lot like Malaysia, since we had no air conditioning. But Chan did get to meet her hero, Le Bernardin chef Eric Ripert. Her verdict: "Best Internship Ever!" (or, something like that.)

"Hi! I'm Connor Kiesel, and Film@11 has been the most fun internship I've ever had. Of course, I've only done one other internship, but so far, this one's in the lead!" (Editor's note: You can find Connor's work in upcoming episodes of "Political Graffiti," where his enthusiasm and smarts are in fine form.)

Where We Started: In the back of a friend's French restaurant. We worked out of the back dining room and stored our files in the wine cellar. We still go there--this is how we did debate nights.
Film@11 is an independent media company based in New York City.

With more dogs?
More information (and dogs) coming soon…along with more photos. Send us your images of the “financial crisis”–funny, sad, thoughtful, anything as long as it’s vivid.
Oh, and make it clean, kids, make it clean.

Dear Michele and other neighbors -
I neglected to get your email addresses when we borrowed the BETA SP deck but THANK you. Scott got a bit tied up with another huge task last night so I am hoping we can keep the deck another night — is that all right?

I wish I was as ambitious, smart and courageous as Michele when I was young. I also wish I wrote a novel. Oh well…
