RONEN HERSHKOVITZ is an actor living in Tel Aviv. In addition to acting gigs, teaches drama at a high school, volunteers with a humanitarian organization, and, when necessary, serves as a medic in a reserve IDF unit. He saw action in the 2006 Lebanon War, an experience which affected him profoundly, leading to a reevaluation of some of his core beliefs about his coutnry and place in it. In the following series of posts we present excerpts from an interview with Ronen conducted in Tel Aviv in June, 2009.
